Motta Field makeover: Provincetown residents weigh in on design concept

PROVINCETOWN — Members of the community got a first glimpse of the plans for a major redesign of Motta Field, and the reviews were generally favorable.

During a May 3 public meeting hosted by the recreation commission and consulting firm Weston & Sampson, attendees got the chance to scope out the highlights, which call for maintaining the existing soccer and baseball fields, a four-lane 400-meter running track and a new skatepark area.
